The Battleground show brought her into a battle with Naomi. Ariana defeated Naomi in the match. In the aftermath, they started competing. In the summer, they wrestled in several handicap singles and tag match matches. Since then, she's competed against other wrestlers including Paige Bella and her twin sisters Alicia Fox as well Asuka. After a period of inactivity of a period of 2 months WWE announced that Ariana was released from her contract. Arina was in WWE NXT following her departure from WWE.
