Donald Joseph Qualls, better popularly known as DJ Qualls is an American actor producer and fashion model. He shot to fame after his performance in Road Trip. Since then DJ Qualls has starred in more than 20 films such like The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. In addition, he has appeared in 22 TV shows including Breaking Bad Supernatural scrubs lost Law & Order among others. The Hodgkin's lymphoma patient who survived and diagnosed at age 14 Qualls is a fighter. After two years of treatment, the cancer was cured. The treatment, however, in such a short time had a severe effect on his body, and hindered the development of his body. Once he started acting as if financial security was his goal because the experience of poverty was a constant throughout his childhood. In the wake of living in poverty over the years I have to be able to enjoy the financial security. Otherwise the world seems out of my control. He reflects on his early years, and is driven by an urge to do something against the bullying. The cruelty of bullying breaks my heart, he says. The perfect role for DJ is that of a real-life father. The director admits that they aren't able to put DJ in such role. It would be wonderful to one day be a parent himself, when he will be able spend much less time working and spend more time with his child.
